FFCA is the leading American conference on goods movement and air quality and attracts key stakeholders from industry, labor, the general community, government, the academic community and the health and environmental sectors. The goal of the FFCA conference is to bring key stakeholders together to address the growing concern over the health impacts of the goods movement industry facing communities throughout the United States. Lloyds has selected Sea to Sky's President Eric Hutchingame as a featured speaker at the upcoming Maritime Air Emissions conference in London, England, the first dedicated conference offering detailed insight into the latest developments regarding responses to national, regional and international regulations pertaining to SOx NOx CO2 and particulates. The pace of developments has accelerated in the face of increasingly stringent regulation, especially in SECAs where air quality problems are acute. Sea to Sky will be attending the FFCA one-day summit on May 16, 2007 in Seattle, Washington which highlights innovative programs, policies and technologies being implemented in the Puget Sound region. The event provides a venue for ports in the Pacific Northwest to interact with technology providers, elected officials, environmental organizations and the community to work collaboratively to develop plans to improve efficiency and reduce the air quality impacts of the goods movement industry.

The FFCA conference series showcases solutions and resources to improve operations and reduce air emissions from the goods movement industry. The event is hosted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Puget Sound Clean Air Agency, Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma and Washington State Department of Transportation, and will focus on goods movement and freight mobility issues.

Sea to Sky's CEO Eric Hutchingame was a featured speaker at the three-day Clean Ships conference in San Diego February 7-9, 2007 on the panel segment entitled "How Cleaner Technologies are Being Used in the Marine Industry", where he presented an overview of the emissions mitigation benefits of water in fuel emulsion and its use on Sea to Sky's demonstration project at the Port of Los Angeles. Other presenters on the panel included specialists from the California Resource Board, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and University of California Riverside.

The purpose of the Clean Ships conference is to encourage dialogue among maritime industry executives and professionals and government entities about new technological strategies to meet clean air goals. The conference provides an educational forum for key decision-makers to understand what emissions control requirements they are likely to face, what industry leaders are doing, and what technological options are available and attracts maritime industry executives and professionals, government representatives and port authorities and professionals concerned with air emission standard development in the marine sector.
